Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Personal & Household Goods and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 2.62%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which rose 6.18% or 6.80 points to trade at 116.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Orsted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) added 3.27% or 9.00 points to end at 284.00 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) was up 2.74% or 9.00 points to 337.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), which fell 16.93% or 2,065.00 points to trade at 10,130.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) declined 16.53% or 1,980.00 points to end at 10,000.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was down 3.61% or 25.60 points to 683.90.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 84 to 65 and 11 ended unchanged.
Shares in AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) fell to 3-years lows; down 16.93% or 2,065.00 to 10,130.00. Shares in AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) fell to 52-week lows; losing 16.53% or 1,980.00 to 10,000.00.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.47% or 1.21 to $81.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.34% or 1.16 to hit $85.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.32% or 6.35 to trade at $1,999.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.10% to 6.95, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.06% at 104.85.
