Microsoft and Tietoevry, a leading Nordic software and services company, are solidifying their strategic collaboration.
The alliance between Microsoft and Tietoevry aims to facilitate a faster and more secure cloud transformation for Nordic enterprises and public sector organisations.
Microsoft is renowned for its extensive software suite, including the Azure cloud platform, which offers a myriad of services ranging from computing, analytics to networking. Tietoevry, on the other hand, brings to the table deep industry knowledge and technology expertise. They not only provide innovative solutions to their customers but are also leveraging Microsoft’s Artificial Intelligence solutions to drive productivity, innovation, and scale in their operations.
The collaboration will utilise the strengths of both companies, merging Microsoft’s global reach, security, and the reliability of Azure with Tietoevry’s localised presence, industry acumen, and customer-centric approach. This synergy is set to offer clients cloud-enabled innovations like artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics. Furthermore, Tietoevry is currently a part of the Microsoft 365 Copilot Early Adopters program.
This partnership will focus on four primary areas: the modernisation and migration of customers’ applications to Microsoft Azure; the development of novel cloud-native solutions; enhancing cloud capabilities; and championing sustainability and societal impact through the cloud.
Together, they will also leverage their existing services and partnerships, such as Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and the Power Platform. Notably, a cloud certification programme has been initiated for 3,000 Tietoevry professionals, aiming to establish the largest Azure community in the Nordics. Both companies have expressed a commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices for the betterment of society.
Tietoevry President and CEO Kimmo Alkio said, “We are living in an exciting era, where technology plays an ever-increasing role in making people, businesses and societies thrive. Combining the best of Microsoft’s and our expertise we can accelerate our customers’ ability to fully embrace the cloud transformation, and by this advance the digital competitiveness across the Nordic societies.”
Joacim Damgard, President of Microsoft Western Europe, remarked, “We are thrilled to announce this reinforced strategic collaboration with Tietoevry, a valued and respected partner of Microsoft in the Nordics. Together, we will enable our customers to harness the power of the cloud, unlocking new opportunities for innovation, growth, and resilience in their businesses and organisations.”
