Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Software & Computer Services and Personal & Household Goods sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.51% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 2.44% or 7.10 points to trade at 297.50 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 1.49% or 180.00 points to end at 12,270.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 1.42% or 175.00 points to 12,475.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which fell 1.80% or 14.00 points to trade at 762.60 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) declined 1.63% or 43.00 points to end at 2,592.00 and Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) was down 1.14% or 0.90 points to 78.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 74 to 63 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 2.44% or 7.10 to 297.50.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.62% or 0.54 to $86.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.41% or 0.37 to hit $90.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 3.45 to trade at $1,946.15 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.38% to 6.94, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 104.18.
