Finland’s economic activity is expected to stall in 2023, the International Monetary Fund forecast on Monday, adding that it is projected to start recovering in 2024 and return to a subdued trend rate of around 1.25%.
In a statement following the Executive Board 2022 Article IV Consultation with Finland, the IMF said the country’s headline inflation is expected to remain at about 4.5% in 2023, and to return to the 2% target in the medium term.
